In somewhat of a first-wave experiment, the city of Duluth partnered with Dashboard co-op to bring public art to the downtown area. Nestled in the suburbs of Atlanta, it’s not typical to see the type of artwork and performances that would be more at home within the city. But it appeared that everything not only worked out as expected, but quite a crowd had been drawn to the former stained glass store where the event was held. There was a masked DJ with his associates dancing to the music (Mike Stasny), an immersive dance performance “Daisy” by Fly on a Wall collective, and static installations from Kevin Byrd, Elizabeth Riley, and Heather Greenway.
