This was the 2nd (or perhaps 3rd) year that the annual July 4th celebration for the city was actually held within the downtown area. The entertainment this year was provided by two Army bands (1 rock/pop, the other country/jazz), leading up to the final act by the Mike Veal Band to lead everyone into the anticipated fireworks display over city hall. As always it was a great all-ages, family-friendly event.
